Your Collaborative Civil Partnership Dissolution

Dissolution proceedings are the Court proceedings which one of the couple brings to end a civil partnership by showing that it has "irretrievably broken down". The Collaborative approach enables you and your civil partner to agree in a four-way meeting who is going to issue the Dissolution proceedings ("the Applicant" or "the Petitioner") and who is going to be the "Respondent" to them. It also enables you to agree the contents of the Dissolution Petition and to reach an agreement as to who is going to meet the costs of getting the dissoultion and any consent orders you ask the court to make.
